Allison Weber is a creative writer and thoughtful communications strategist with deep experience creating powerful narratives for local and global causes. With over 12 years of nonprofit experience, she is highly skilled at developing and executing messaging and strategies that move fundraising relationships forward.
Allison’s passion for helping mission-driven organizations tell better stories has served her well in the nexus of development and communications roles. Before joining Campbell and Company, she worked as a freelance nonprofit writer and storyteller, supporting organizations engaged in hunger relief, veterans service, health care, and international development, among other causes. In this role, she co-designed donor communication strategies and created content for multi-million dollar nonprofit campaigns to achieve key fundraising objectives.
Through various roles at Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, Allison developed and managed content production to engage and steward corporate, individual, and institutional donors, including the annual and quarterly impact reports one-pagers and the case for support. Allison started her social impact career at Opportunity International, one of the first nonprofits to provide banking services in developing countries, where she participated in the research, planning, and execution of institutional funding proposals, often traveling to sub-Saharan Africa to complete major projects.
Allison currently resides in Austin, Texas, where she is a member of The Junior League of Austin and Church of the Cross. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Westmont College.
