“Fundraising is all about creating and utilizing broad networks, and it’s what makes Campbell & Company’s strategy so effective. Nonprofit work exists in all aspects of life, so if a whole industry can be so limitless, we’re going to do the same.”
Meredith comes to Campbell & Company with a diverse background in nonprofit management, fundraising, and social entrepreneurship. She enjoys working with organizations to understand their unique strengths, challenges, and goals to help them create and implement actionable plans to achieve their vision. Meredith is passionate about building strong organizational governance and structures that enable effective, sustainable resource development to advance nonprofit missions.
Before joining Campbell & Company, Meredith led Musical Empowerment (ME), an organization based in North Carolina that provides access to music education by pairing children with college mentors. After volunteering as a student leader with ME during college, she was hired as the first executive director. During her tenure leading ME, Meredith oversaw the organization’s growth from a student organization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to a growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit with chapters on six college campuses. This included developing and implementing a three-year strategic plan, building systems for fundraising and financial management, and establishing guidelines for chapter operations.
Meredith also worked at Merit School of Music as a member of the marketing and development team, where she managed individual giving, the Associate Board, the Merit Parent Association, and planned several events supporting fundraising and volunteer engagement. Additionally, she has worked with Ronald McDonald House Charities Global, Carolina Performing Arts, and the Illinois Junior Golf Association.
Meredith served as the Vice Chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Triangle NC Board of Directors and continues be involved with several nonprofit professional organizations throughout the Chicago area. She holds a degree in Business Administration and Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys salsa dancing, songwriting, and going for runs through the city.
