Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Colleen worked for Landmarks Illinois, a statewide historic preservation advocacy organization. She assisted with several programmatic and advocacy efforts, and served as interim fund and easement coordinator. Her responsibilities included conducting meetings with committee members and facilitating projects among the organization, property owners and municipal landmarks commissions. She also assisted with research and the creation of program materials and website content. Colleen received her Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Kent State University in Ohio and a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her graduate studies, she traveled to Yunnan province in China for three weeks to document courtyard houses along the Silk Road.
