Aaron Smith has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. He is responsible for overseeing the financial close process, preparation of financial reports, process analysis, review of internal controls, and financial forecasting and planning of the organization.
Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Aaron held accounting and finance roles within the architecture/engineering, market research, banking, and healthcare industries. Most recently, he served as the Finance Manager of the OBGYN Department at Rush University Medical Center, working directly with providers and departmental and corporate leadership to understand and navigate the department’s financial results.
Aaron is a graduate of Michigan State University. When not at work, Aaron enjoys spending time with family and friends while taking full advantage of Chicago’s world-class restaurants, concert venues, live sporting events, museums, breweries, parks, and golf courses.
