Christine is the Chief Development Officer at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She is responsible for the philanthropic partnerships needed to support the Academy’s dedication to the health of all children. She manages fundraising initiatives, including corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and current and estate gifts from AAP members, parents, and others who care about children’s health. Before joining AAP in 2016, Bork was the Chief Development and Communications Officer for CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, a nonprofit funding children’s cancer research. In addition to fundraising, she oversaw the organization’s social marketing, publicity, and content marketing programs. Christine has devoted nearly 30 years to the social good—through fundraising, marketing, and business management experiences at the YWCA, American Red Cross, Alzheimer’s Association, and other health-related nonprofits. Christine has an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University. She has been published in the Huffington Post, and in 2011, she was named one of Today’s Chicago Woman’s “100 Women Making a Difference.” In her free time, Christine loves watching movies with her family, golfing, and gardening.
