Rosie is a Chicago-based writer. She is passionate about advocacy and social justice, and delighted to be working with a company that helps nonprofits do their crucial work.
Rosie spent more than a decade working in various roles at The Second City, most recently as the Managing Director of its Chicago Training Center, where she also taught improv, acting, and writing to students aged 4-15. She has worked with Shattered Globe Theatre (where she is an Ensemble Member) and other nonprofit theatres around the city and regionally. Her work has been published by Idealist, Chicago Education Advocacy Cooperative, Points In Case, Collider, and more. She has volunteered with 826 Chicago, Lurie Children’s Hospital/Children’s Memorial Hospital, Humor For Hope, and The Abolitionist Law Center.
Rosie graduated with a Theatre degree from Ithaca College. She is originally from the Finger Lakes region of New York State, and her beloved family and favorite dogs still live there. She is blessed with A++ friends who have her back and make her laugh.
